Our Beliefs

We invite you to discover our beliefs and join us as we live out our faith with boldness and passion.

  • The Bible

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word and the ultimate guide for life. It’s more than just a book; it’s a living source of wisdom, truth, and guidance. Through scripture, we learn about God’s character, how to live faithfully, and how to grow spiritually. By reading and studying the Bible, we draw closer to God and deepen our understanding of His love.

  • Jesus

Jesus Christ is our Savior, our guide, our example. His life, death, and resurrection show us how to love, serve, and live for God.

  • Salvation

Jesus teaches that to experience salvation, we must be born of both water and the Spirit. Being “born of water” represents baptism, a public step of obedience that signifies leaving behind our old life. Being “born of the Spirit” means receiving the Holy Spirit, that transforms our hearts, guides our lives, and empowers us to follow Jesus. This new birth is not just a moment, it’s the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith, growth, and intimacy with God.

  • Holy Spirit

At The 860, we believe the Holy Spirit should live in a believer, guiding, empowering, and transforming. Acts 2 shows that the initial evidence of receiving the Spirit is speaking in tongues; a sign that God’s power is active in our lives.

The Holy Spirit equips us to grow in faith, serve others, and live boldly for Jesus

  • Prayer

We believe prayer is essential, both individually and together as a way to connect with God. Through prayer, we seek guidance, strength, healing, and wisdom, growing closer to God and aligning with His will. Prayer opens our hearts to Him, allowing His love and direction to shape our lives.
